Why I made a blog.
Lately, my life has felt like a series of small resets. Graduated, settled into a new routine, and trying to find structure in my life has really made me realize this is the first time I've had nothing going on. Life is slow, and I am at a roadblock. I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to fill my time with doomscrolling; I want to actually do the things I love. I keep asking myself: What are the things I love?
I love a lot of things. And I love to document my life, now I want to share that with all of you.
This blog is not about having my life all figured out, or doing things “right”. I feel like when I read people's blogs, they are experts at the things they do, whether it be fitness, cooking, health & wellness, networking, etc. That is not me, I am just trying to discover who I am and what I like to do, and write down my thoughts on the different things I try.
Right now feels like the right time to start. 2025 is coming to an end, and we are entering the new year, so I want to end this year by doing something I may be scared of: opening myself up to public scrutiny and, at the same time, being raw and honest about myself and my life. I want to try new things and build new habits, and writing is something I want to try out this upcoming year.
If you’re on a similar boat and enjoy reading about life as it is lived, then I’m glad you’re here. I hope I can inspire you to do the same thing! Try something new and fun.
